It’s not so much fun when you’re the one giving grace — especially when you’ve been hurt deeply and you know the hurt was intentional.
That’s what Jordon Cooper has been wrestling with lately, and his thoughts on giving grace and forgiveness to our enemies is worth pondering. I’ve been on both sides of the equation, and let me tell you, as hard as it is to humble yourself and ask forgiveness from someone you have wronged terribly, it’s even more difficult to put aside your wounded pride and forgive.
