Fact or Myth?

Steven Waldman of Beliefnet explodes seven myths about religion and politics. If you habitually read God-blogs, you already have a pretty good idea about some of these misconceptions. For example, “Evangelicals all vote Republican.” Well, duh. If you think that, then you aren’t reading some of the people in my blogroll.

Some of Waldman’s other points may surprise you; they blew me out of the water. For example: “Bush’s religion talk has appealed to his base but has alienated moderate swing voters.” See what you think of these myths. The comments are enlightening, too.
