At least, that's what Ken keeps telling me. I have sent off my resume and samples to three places. I met last Tuesday with a former co-worker who has been free-lancing for the last six years or so. He was full of good information on getting started and more than willing to share. Now I have lots more items on the to-do list, in addition to the gardening. Among those items is a list of people I have worked with before who might have projects they can throw my way.
Ken and I took an extended weekend off to stay at Lost Lake again. We have three more weekends planned before the unofficial end of our golf season in October. I won't really comment on how the golf was. We had a good time, the course is beautiful and the greens are evil, evil, evil. We missed church on Sunday, so I think I'll go to the Monday evening service tonight.
A few of the women from church are going together to a Beth Moore simulcast on Friday night and Saturday morning. Most of them are familiar with Moore from using her Bible studies, but this will be my first exposure. Not quite sure what to expect, but my friends say she is excellent.
Meanwhile, it's a beautiful Michigan summer. God is taking good care of us and I plan to enjoy this whole process of finding what new things He has in store for me.
