Can one smoke a cigar to the glory of God? The great preacher Charles Spurgeon (himself fond of a fine cigar) had an answer for that, and Jared expands on that in Shizuka Blog.
Which makes me realize that I can sit through hemo to the glory of God too. It does inspire some wonder in the works of our almighty Father. Ever think about the intricacies of the human circulatory system --- and the One who designed and made it out of nothing?
In Catholic circles, we call that concept (when applied to suffering at least) 'offering it up'.
I think that anything that is not outright sinful can be offered up to the glory of God - and even our desire to sin which we have resisted can be offered up.
