Jen of Lintefiniel Musing shares her fall TV must-sees. Mine are a little more modest, but since I am sort of a captive audience three nights a week, my prime-time TV consumption is higher than usual. Especially compared to those years when I worked nights at the newspaper and watched no prime-time TV except round-the-clock CNN Headline News. So, some of the shows I’ll be tuning in on a regular basis:
• “House, M.D.” — after this season I’m completely hooked. I don’t quite see how TV Guide can call Hugh Laurie TV’s sexiest man, but I love his portrayal of the battered, misanthropic doctor
• “Commander in Chief” — the premise is interesting, and I can’t wait to see Geena Davis and Donald Sutherland on the small screen
• “The O.C.” — my guilty pleasure. Amy got me hooked on this nighttime soap and I just can’t stop watching
• “E-Ring” — Benjamin Bratt is an awesome actor and I am looking forward to this next project of his
• “The West Wing” — the move to Sunday night is a big plus for me … I’m home and usually looking for something good to watch. Besides, it’ll be fun to see whether they pick a Democrat or a moderate Republican to be president
• “CSI” — just have to see what Grissom and the team are up to this season
• “Law & Order” — yes, it’s habit-forming. This show should be declared a narcotic
