I was thinking about taping ABC's two-part version of "The Ten Commandments," but after reading this review in the Free Press, I think it's probably not worth the trouble. I'll just hold out for the Charlton Heston original, corny as it is.

I read that same review this morning. It doesn't make me want to rush out to watch it, but I'd take it with a grain of salt.
Often times reviewers are looking for things you and I aren't. They undergrade family shows a star and overgrade "serious" movies a star.
If he gave it two stars, act like it's three. If you were inclined to give it a chance before the review, I say stick with your gut.
